RD is an acrylic copolymer (PAM) designed to encapsulate cuttings and stabilize shale. JCPDS RD also acts as a viscosifier, friction reducer, and flocculant, providing some filtration control.

RD is presented in 33 lb. buckets. The product should be stored in a dry environment at room temperature away from heat.
